What repeatability are you seeing from Visioffice, i.Terminal 2, or visuReal for monocular PD and fitting height in day-to-day use? I’m iterating a freeform progressive that attenuates oblique astigmatism more aggressively when vertical error stays under 0.5 mm, and I want to tune the safety margins to what you can reliably capture on the floor.
In our shop, i.Terminal 2 repeats mono PD around ±0.3 mm and heights ±0.4–0.5 mm; Visioffice is similar, while visuReal is a bit looser at ±0.5–0.7 mm and gets camera-shy under mixed lighting. We standardize stance and head pitch, take three captures, and discard the outlier, which keeps vertical error “under 0.5 mm” on most faces, but high wrap or shifting panto will blow that out. If you’re tuning the margin, maybe require two agreeing runs before the aggressive map kicks in — are you basing this on standing or seated captures?
