Improving Patient Communication in Eye Care

I’ve been thinking about how important clear communication is when working with patients in our field. Just last week, I had a patient confused about their prescription, and it really made me realize how vital it’s to break things down in simple terms. Has anyone found effective ways or tools to enhance communication with patients, especially when explaining diagnoses or treatment plans?

But i totally get that! I’ve found using simple diagrams really helps when explaining prescriptions. Visual aids can make a huge difference — patients seem to grasp the info better and feel more confident.
